Hi all,
Just thought there is enough noice and concern out there on IEC 61850 Standard, i thought it good to start a blog on it. I work at Kalki (www.kalkitech.com), and we have been hearing about it, working on it, sleeping on it, dreaming about it and god knows what not.
It might be a good arena to share thoughts, experiences and concerns about IEC 61850 from all of you out there on this topic and how it will drastically alter or not-alter the sub-station communication and engineering land-scape.
It might be too technical a subject to blog about, but there is enough activity happening on this front not to share some of the subtle thoughts about and experiences of this new standard.
